Scope of Collected Personal Data

By registering an account in the Movello app, we process the following personal data:

  • Registration Data:
    • First Name, Last Name, Nickname – necessary for identification and contact in case of account access issues or participation in competitions.
    • Email Address – used for communication with you and account recovery.
    • Optional: Business Email Address – used to facilitate joining a company league if your company participates in our challenges.
  • Optional Data:
    • Age, Weight, Height – used for more precise health statistics, such as calculating burned calories.
  • Physical Activity Data:
    • Information about your physical activity, such as the number of steps, distance traveled, activity time, and type of activity (walking, running, cycling).
  • Location:
    • Device location data – used to display events, fundraisers, challenges, and campaigns in your vicinity.
  • Profile Picture:
    • If you choose to add it, it will be visible along with your nickname in all rankings, challenges, campaigns, and leagues you participate in.
  • Nickname:
    • Each user creates a unique nickname, which will be visible in rankings, challenges, campaigns, and leagues. The following rules apply when creating a nickname:
      • The nickname must be unique and non-repeatable.
      • It must not contain inappropriate, offensive, vulgar content or violate the rights of others.
      • We reserve the right to change or delete a nickname that violates the above rules.
  • Technical Data:
    • Technical information such as IP address, device type, operating system, and sensor data (e.g., accelerometer, gyroscope) needed to track physical activity.
  • Integrations with External Services and Devices:
    • Data from Apple Health, Google Fit, smartwatch manufacturers, and other measuring devices – if you pair our system with your device or service, we will process data related to your physical activity.
  • Data Related to Participation in Campaigns and Leagues:
    • Information about your participation in educational campaigns, challenges, company leagues, and inter-company leagues.
    • Results achieved within these activities, such as the number of steps, distance covered, points earned, etc.

 

Data Collected from Children

Our app is intended for users aged 7 and above. Users under 16 years of age can use the app only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. During registration, the user must provide their age and confirm that they have such consent. If we become aware that we are processing data of a child under 16 without the required consent, we will promptly delete it.

 

Purpose and Basis for Processing Personal Data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Providing App Services:
    • Enabling registration, login, and use of app features, including tracking physical activity (legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

    • Displaying personalized fundraisers, campaigns, challenges, and events that are closest to you geographically or tailored to your age (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

  4. Organization of Events, Campaigns, and Rankings:
    • Enabling participation in challenges, educational campaigns (e.g., “Great Coalition Against Hate”), company leagues, and inter-company leagues, where your nickname and profile picture (if added) will be visible. Data processing is necessary to conduct competitions, track progress, and determine winners (legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  5. Integration with External Services and Devices:
    • Exchanging data with services and devices such as Apple Health, Google Fit, smartwatch manufacturers, and other measuring devices to synchronize your activities (legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  6. Marketing and Analytics:
    • Sending marketing information and analyzing your preferences with your consent (legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  7. Sharing Results with Campaign and League Organizers:
    • If you voluntarily join an educational campaign, company league, or inter-company league, your results during these activities may be visible to organizers (e.g., schools, municipalities, companies) and other participants (legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

    • Such as Facebook, Google, Apple – if you decide to use the login option via their services.
  • Organizers of Educational Campaigns, Challenges, and Company and Inter-Company Leagues:
    • If you participate in educational campaigns (e.g., “Great Coalition Against Hate”), challenges, company leagues, or inter-company leagues, your data (e.g., nickname, results) may be shared with organizers (e.g., schools, municipalities, companies) and other participants to conduct competitions and determine winners.
